hello world! i'm melissa, a computer science student who likes to play video games and watch movies (mostly horror). i moved from florida to southern california in late 2019. i have two cats name minmo and lucy. i love coding (though im not good at it T-T) and making websites. this is my third time remaking this site from scratch.

It's been a busy week. I spent more time working on this site than studying for midterms. Somewhat of a mistake, but it's okay. I'll do better on my finals than I did on midterms. I'm still in range to get an A or B in all my classes. Working on this site has been so much fun, but frustrating and challenging as well. JavaScript is somewhat hard to get used to. I've been playing a ton of Balatro as of late, though I feel bad because I've been neglecting my Animal Crossing island. Over the weekend I'm hoping to get some work done and maybe go to the movies. I want to see Shelby Oaks!
